YOUTH SOLIDARITY FOR DEVELOPMENT

Tuvugane is a youth networking platform to advance contribution towards the development of Burundi and Burundian communities, foster coexistence, and preserve Burundian culture and the Kirundi language. 

Through communication, we believe that we can begin to empower each other to reach our full potential. Part of that process is to celebrate each other's accomplishments and encourage each other to continue serving our communities and each other diligently. 

Vision: To be a platform that empowers Burundian youth to reach their full potential and enables them to witness the development of Burundi as a country, and as a people. We would like to develop a community of Burundian diaspora youth who are equipped with the knowledge necessary and courage to return to, build, invest, and reintegrate in Burundi.

Mission: To advance contributions towards the development of Burundi and Burundian communities, foster coexistence, and preserve Burundian culture and the Kirundi language.

Cultural Awareness:

Tuvugane focuses on increasing awareness of the diversity of Burundi as a country and people. We are dedicated to our commitment to sharing the wealth of Burundi with other communities. Most importantly, we encourage Burundian youth to embrace Burundian culture and traditions through their skills & talents.

Social Awareness:

Tuvugane encourages interaction between associates of the organization and people of different races, religions, beliefs, and opinions. We strive to make the organization a safe place, and a tool of instruction. It serves as a platform in which youth from various fields of experience meet, discuss, and exchange ideas in the spirit of unity and humanity. Tuvugane wholeheartedly aspires for an atmosphere whereby youth can realize their full potential and foster coexistence amongst all Burundian groups in the diaspora and in Burundi. 

Educational Awareness:

Tuvugane supports the educational pursuits of all members of society by celebrating educational and professional achievements. We celebrate and promote Burundian excellence while working to close the gender gap in educational pursuit.
